On Friday night, I was lucky enough to attend Stephen Sondheim's 75th: The Concert at The Hollywood Bowl. That night was a celebration of one of musical theatre's most influential composers. His work changed the landscape of what is seen on Broadway and on stages around the world. So to say he is a genius is an understatement.
To be a member of the audience that night from the moment the first note played until Mr. Sondheim appeared on stage was quite an honor. I know it sounds dumb and cheesy, but that night, I was the in the presence of greatness...and it was pretty damn amazing.
